15:00-17:00 CEO session: Contributing to a research to be presented in front of a global audience in 2019

    - Separate registration required; limited availability for the 2 hours long discussion: info@weareopen.hu -

In partnership with Open for Business, a global organization promoting inclusion at the workplaces.

How can the private sector advance diversity and LGBT+ inclusion in societies across Central and Eastern Europe? The UN Standards of Conduct for Business to tackle LGBT+ discrimination says that companies have a responsibility to act in the public sphere – but what does that mean? And what has been done in Central and Eastern Europe so far that can inspire corporations in other regions? This session for C-suite representatives will examine ways in which companies can work together to create more diverse and inclusive environment. It will also discuss the economic and business case for doing so.

The outcome of this session will go to a global audience and inform 100+ global companies’ decisions when they work on how they can act in the public sphere to promote diversity and inclusion.
The learnings of the session will be presented as a WeAreOpen - Open for Business co-authored segment of Open for Business’ global research that is to be published together with the UN at a prominent global event in 2019.
